Floyd, who runs the trading desk, is retiring and your editor, Ray Johns, will be pursing other interests. We would both like to thank all members for your loyal patronage and support over the years. We have enjoyed providing service via both the morning report, as well as trading desk, to all users of our service.

DayTraders.com was founded in early 1996 and has provided service to well over 100,000 traders during that time. Many of our members have become good friends and we will miss having daily contact with everyone. For those who have written in kind letters and made positive comments regarding the services that we provide, thank you very much.

With regard to the current open positions in our model portfolio, we will provide suggestions and/or further information on how to handle any positions which may remain open near the end of this month. Over the next two weeks, we may also limit the number of longer term trades and focus slightly more on index plays and/or short term trades that (we hope) can be bought and sold successfully prior to the month's end.

Once we shut down the website and e-mail service, we may elect to setup a discussion forum for investors and daytraders via our other domain name "DayTrader.com" (no "S" on the end). If this does occur, we will contact you by e-mail with an invitation to visit and register at the site.

For now, and on behalf of Floyd and all the staff over the years at DayTraders.com, I would personally like to thank all users of our service who have made this such an enjoyable business to be part of - it's been a great run; thank you :-)
